String of pearls plant

If we got to name these we’ve called them beads of joy, instead or string of pearls or senecio rowleyanus. There’s something about these pea-like living garlands that just makes you want to smile and squeal. Maybe because the green pearls can make even an old rusty tin of cat food look good. So imagine how good they’ll look in your kitchen window or living room ceiling. Both minimalistic and adorable, your Scandi-styled home will salute you.

These particular ones come in a handy hanging planter so you need not worry about finding a pot for them.

These magical beads like to live in bright indirect sun and will complain at you if you give them too much direct sunlight.

We've recently discovered that these beauties love an occasional misting. Do  keep actual watering to a minimum - they like a good shower every now and then (particularly in spring and summer) but make sure it all drains through before returning the plant. You'll know the plant is thirsty when the beads start to wrinkle.
