Another one for your dracaena/ sansevieria collection. The dracaena trifasciata "Black Dragon" is an epic eye-catcher with its dark, almost black leaves. This hybrid type is unusual for a snake plant in that its leaves are unvariegated. Keeping it in a darker space will make the leaves go lighter so keep it in a brighter sense for a bigger impact. They grow slowly so will be perfect for that smaller shelf that was looking a bit empty.
These beauties are super easy to look like, just like all other snake plants. They are basically best ignored as the easiest way to kill them is to water them too much - don't give them a drink until the soil is completely dry. In the winter, you barely need to water them at all but do ensure they stay warm - they like being in temperatures above 10°C.
When the roots threaten to split the pot, the mother-in-laws-tongue will need a bigger pot to live in.

Height of the plant varies but is no less than 25 cm.
