Dischidia 'Geri'

Sometimes known as ant plants, they are easier to look after than their cousins, the hoya family, as they require less water. That said, they do like humidity so would be perfect for a kitchen or a bathroom.

Fun fact: these plants are epiphytes, meaning they grow on other plants, like tree branches.

They do ok with a bit of direct light but prefer indirect light most of the time. Try them in a sunnier spot and see - if the leaves start turning pink, it's time to move it to a shadier spot.

When watering, try and mimic the forest rain running past the roots - give it a big drenching but make sure it all runs through. They are sensitive to overwatering so only water when they're dry. A regular misting would be very much appreciated, if you're that way inclined.
