This stunning philodendron is a real treat for the eyes. The stunningly striped almost white new leaves contrast wonderfully with the darker green of the older leaves. This is not a trailing plant but rather stays lovely and compact. As far as we can determine, this plant does not occur naturally so it's a lovely little mutant created in a lab.
The Birkin prefers to stand out of the spotlight of bright sunshine but does enjoy higher light levels. It will prefer moist but not soggy soil in spring and summer but do let it almost dry out in the autumn-winter period before watering again. It will love you very much if you give it a good misting every other day.
