Hoya carnosa 'Albomarginata'

This plant is an absolute marvel - not only does it have beautiful variegated leaves that go between white and pink variegation, the stunningly beautiful clusters of flowers it produces smell absolutely divine, particularly as the night falls.

As with all good things, it is known by many names: wax plant (due to its waxy leaves), porcelain flower (for it's delicate flowers) are the most common ones but of the more technical names, it's also sometimes called hoya carnosa tricolor for all it's colours.

This  gorgeous plant is a semi-succulent, meaning it holds some water in it's leaves. This means that watering them should be approached with caution and it should never ever have a soggy bottom.

They like to be quite warm in spring and summer (18-26°C) but can handle cooler temperatures in autumn and winter (13-15°C). Added to that, they need a lot of bright light and happily enjoy direct sunlight for a few hours a day so put them in your warmest bright spot and they will happily reward you with stunning leaves and gorgeous flowers.
